Understanding the PSI of Innovation

Innovation: Simplifying innovation to three components.

Desired Outcome: Faster innovation to serve people better.

Innovation can be broken down into three component pieces. They are the (1) problem, (2) solution and (3) impact or abbreviated to PSI.  The problem is an undesirable matter needing to be dealt with and overcome. The solution solves the problem. I know I am not supposed to use root word in the definition but you get my meaning. And, impact is applying your solution to the problem resulting in your desired outcome. To learn more, click here.

Creating Cultural Impact Through Entrepreneurship

Innovation: An education-based venture group to resource Jesus loving entrepreneurs and their ideas.

Desired Outcome: Creating a generation of entrepreneurs bending culture towards Jesus.

Everyday Jesus loving entrepreneurs, for profit and not for profit, are creating organizations, products and services to bend culture. Like in Silicon Valley, there are also people interested in investing these entrepreneurs and their innovative ideas. Praxis is the best of both creating a community of entrepreneurs, investors and education-oriented venture group to equip and resource a growing portfolio of faith-motivated entrepreneurs who have committed their lives to cultural and social impact. See the future. Be the future.

What the Heck is a Clickable Prototype?

Innovation: New technology has paved the way for culture bending clickable prototypes.

Desired Outcome: Creating a new generation of digital products bending culture towards Jesus.

A clickable prototype is the first functional model of a digital concept (think Facebook or Uber or Amazon) that allows people to taste an experience before it is actually developed. Clickable prototype have primarily been driven by technology entrepreneurs with a big idea to attract funding. Until recently, the budget for a clickable prototype was $1,000,000 and would require a small team of technologists to spend the better part of a year to launch. Today, culture bending non-techies with a little design experience, $20,000 and a couple of months can do the very same thing.
